Was finally able to get into the Hoyt Sherman Theater for some photos last Friday. It's hard to get into some of these places that are only open business hours M-F when you work a full-time day job.
The girl at the box office was nice enough to let me go up and roam the theater. Some of the small to medium sized shows pass through here. Great 19th century architecture. But, alas, I just leave you with a photo of some seats. :P
Built in 1877 by prominent pioneer businessman Hoyt Sherman, the elegant family home is graced with marble fireplaces, parquet floors and a carved mahogany entryway. Expanded over the years, the building also includes an impressive and elegant art gallery as well as a grand and historic theater.
