There sure are a lot of these signs around town now due to water coming up over the roads. It's beginning to make getting around certain areas difficult to impossible. They've actually closed 1 mile of I-80 an hour or so east of here. For whatever reason the detour adds 110 miles! WTF!? Surely there's a shorter route.
Ooh, today is also Friday the 13th. Gotta love that. My 29th birthday will be on Ft13 in 2009. The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia. An estimated 17 to 21 million people in the US are affected by a fear of this day and an estimated $800-$900 million is lost in business because of it. Lets hope the floods don't bring any truth to this fear...
