Thirty years ago, my dad purchased this '77 Kawasaki KZ900 A5. Back in the 70's, these bikes were the absolute fastest thing you could slap between your legs. But of course, nothing is ever fast enough as-is! Lots of internal engine work and 20 pounds of turbo boost later, it was running a control limited 10.20 @ 130 mph in the quarter mile. The front wheel didn't like to stay on the ground so well.
Fast forward 3 decades. The turbo is long gone, but the bike is mine and she's a blast. Vintage Japanese engineering, living on for another generation. Met a guy who has a handful of these bikes (and lots of parts) while out a Gray's Lake Tuesday night. I gave him my card, so this could be interesting. :)

You're just sitting there, posing with your bike.... completely oblivious to the giant alien on top of the quest building, poised for attack!!
RUN!

I was just noticing how his left hand could cover his whole head... or how his head looks photoshopped onto this body. Ahh, perspectives.

Am so proud you brought the bike back to life!
