How can it be possible that July is coming to a close already? It sure hasn't felt like July, that's fo sho! Since Iowa weather record keeping began in 1872, the state hasn't made it through a July without breaking 90° somewhere at least one day. We nearly upset that record this year, but it looks like last Friday, and only last Friday, we just barely touched 90°. Looks like we're still setting records for lowest average temperature for the entire month, though.
