So, I might be keeping with this flood theme for a while...
Here's downtown Des Moines as of early yesterday evening. Water level sitting 5-6' from going over the bridges. The bridges have now been closed and bagged off at the ends to attempt and contain some of the water that will most likely be flowing over them by this evening. Water is now going over the emergency spillway at Saylorville (Level at 889', up about 5' in 24 hours. So the reservoir is pretty much uncontrollable now and all that water is coming downstream.
Strong storms are in the forecast for tonight. Definitely not going to help the situation...

If you had ended up in the slammer how would you post photos each day?
ami 06.11.08 3:06pm
he'd use his one phone call to instruct me how to get the job done!

Even if Ami would post the photo, where would they be coming from? Is J.... using old photos he shot a while ago and only taking current photos every now and then to keep us off the trail?
