It's amazing how only .6" in precipitation created 15.5" of snow. And it's also amazing how 50mph wind turns that 15.5" of snow into 8'+ drifts.
Here's a view downtown by the Science Center. Not exactly a natural drift here, but they really jam packed the alley full of snow between the two buildings while plowing the lot. You can see it comes over 3/4 the way up the door and was begging me to climb it. 133 second exposure.
Also, 624 photos from the Chiefs-Steelers game are now up on Flickr and Picture Iowa.
