What would we do without zippers? (Yup, that's what this is a photo of) I guess the barn door would just have to say open ;)
The current design was invented back in 1913, but was deemed inappropriate for womens clothing until the late 50's because it allowed them to strip out of their clothes too quickly. :(

Aw, but women need to be able to strip out of their clothing quickly! Yknow, to go to the bathroom... yeah, that's it...
I'm going to set this site as the homepage in my browser and try to keep up with viewing your daily images. I'd try to take pictures too, but lacking a decent digital it'd be way too expensive and too much hassle for me to do. I haven't even run a single frame through my good camera in a couple months... :-\
