This photo shows the potential problem of shooting under sodium vapor lights... they shift color and brightness as they cycle. Notice some appear green, others appear orange and some are brighter than others. If the lights are wired up properly on different circuits, and there are enough of them, the light color temperature and brightness will always average out to be a consistent color and level. But with improper wiring, like seems to be the case in most local venues, the light color and brightness changes from frame to frame, causing post-process headaches.
