I found out why nobody else ever uses this angle for their backboard cams... It can provide a couple cool shots, but most shots end up having the rim blocking the players. And it's impossible to block the reflections in the glass using the normal methods. Maybe I'll try it again sometime with some additional strobe power and a polarizing filter.
