Brad's car burning up the dyno at the bash.
Man, time for some sleep for sure! What a day. Nothing seemed to go right for me at the bash. Nitrous failed to trigger on the dyno for an unknown reason. In the diagnosis, someone managed to arc a spark to the braided stainless feed line, which instantly punctures it. A light mist develops in the afternoon, but the track is still open. I realize I forgot to put on the required long pants halfway to the track & have to turn around. Doesn't matter, since after putting on the slicks and waiting in the staging lanes for an hour, they shut down the track before I get to run. Crappy jack slips when removing the slicks, half ripping off the ground effect on the drivers side. Three cars from our group (fortunately not me!) end up in a minor accident at a slick onramp entrance on the way back from the track. I will attest to its slickness, though.
Yup, time for some sleep...
